Cultural Resources Council Announces
2007 NYSCA Decentralization Grants Program

The Cultural Resources Council of Syracuse and Onondaga County is accepting applications for the 2007 New York State Council on the Arts’ Decentralization Grant Program.

The Council regionally administers grant funds for Cortland, Onondaga and Oswego Counties. These funds are available for all non-profit arts, service, religious and non-religious organizations, and individual artists.

The purpose of the grants program is to increase cultural awareness throughout the counties by presenting artistic and cultural events that benefit the public.

All disciplines including (but not limited to) theater, dance, music, film, video, literature, visual arts, folk arts, historical and cultural-specific events will be considered.

Arts organizations and individual artists are eligible to apply, however all new applicants must meet with the Grants and Program Director prior to applying.
